Join the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)

The Grand Rapids Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is excited to offer free Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Level 1 training once again. This month, OEM is hosting three sessions throughout the city, providing residents with an invaluable opportunity to enhance their emergency preparedness skills. The CERT program is a community-based emergency preparedness and response volunteer program designed to empower individuals to take action in times of crisis. No volunteer commitment is required, making this an accessible opportunity for all.

Registration for this free training is open through March 17 or until classes fill, with each class limited to the first 25 who register.
