Fair Housing Luncheon & Workshop Series [VIRTUAL]

DETAILS: We look forward to celebrating the 55th Anniversary of the Fair Housing Act with you all! This year's event will focus on fair housing and social determinants of health and will feature remarks from Andre M. Perry, Senior Fellow at Brookings Metro, and Debby Goldberg, Vice President of Housing Policy & Special Projects at National Fair Housing Alliance (NFHA). Our theme is Where We Live Matters: Housing, Health, and the Environment.  Our Event Program will include 2023 Fair Housing Awards and a poetry performance by local artist Ebony Davis a.k.a. Gemini DaPoet, who is also a Teaching Artist for The Diatribe. Stay tuned here for more details! 

DATE/TIME: FHCWM’s 35th Annual Fair Housing Conference will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 1:15 PM.

LOCATION: Online

CONFERENCE COST: The registration cost for this event is $35.  This registration cost assists the FHCWM with the costs of providing this exciting educational opportunity online.  Please note that there are discounted rates available at checkout and full scholarships for non-profits, students, seniors, those experiencing financial hardship, etc. Please call us to inquire about full scholarships.

SENIOR DISCOUNT: We have a limited number of FULL scholarships available for Kent County senior citizens. If interested, please call us at (616) 451-2980 EXT. 19 and do NOT fill out the online registration form.

REGISTRATION: Register and pay for the conference.  Registration is required and space may be limited. Your registration is not considered complete until payment is received. Online registration is scheduled to close April 24, 2023 at 5:30 pm unless capacity is reached sooner.
