Community Meeting: Nexus Initiative + Hope Network Project
You are cordially invited to join us at one of the two community meetings scheduled in November to learn more about the Nexus Initiative and the Hope Network Project at the former Fulton Manor located at 1450 Fulton Street SE. During the meetings, we will also likely learn about opportunities to assist Community Rebuilders and our new neighbors both before and during the grand opening of the East Fulton Lofts.
From 6-7 pm on Thursday, November 7 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and 10-11 am on Thursday, November 14 at Calvin Christian Reformed Church, the ECA will welcome Vera Beech, Executive Director of Community Rebuilders, and Anthony Baker, Executive Director of Housing and Community Development at Hope Network, as they discuss the Nexus Initiative and Hope Network's low-income apartment project at the former Fulton Manor with the community.
The Nexus Initiative will be housed in the East Fulton Units, a housing and social service facility space for individuals experiencing homelessness. This initiative will provide a safe, nurturing environment for up to 40 individuals as they work to rebuild their lives and seek permanent housing. The East Fulton Units will be operated by Community Rebuilders, a local non-profit organization and leader in collaborative strategies for ending homelessness. The location will provide connectivity to an established network of support services within the community.
We hope to see you there.
