BIPOC Young Adult Social Group *no allies, please*
BIPOC Young Adult Support Group This group will meet every 2nd and 4th Fridays at the Grand Rapids Pride Center. The ages will be 18 to 30 years old.
This space is designed for those in the community wishing to discuss issues relevant to life as a person of color, intersecting with their gender identity and sexual orientation in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. The group discusses ways to help increase the visibility of people of color, promote social justice, share ideas, and engage in networking opportunities.
While we appreciate our white allies, we want to create a safe space for queer young adults of color specifically.
